Children's Gîtes
Gîtes d'enfants and Centres de Vacances à la Ferme (farm holiday centres) are Gîte de France formulas specially designed to give your children a break in the countryside or at the seaside during the school holidays. They will become part of a family and will be able to discover nature and learn about life on a farm during their stay.
This really is an original type of holiday: Gîtes d'enfants offer all kinds of activities - introductory courses (drama, dance, computing...), craft activities (painting, pottery, building huts...) and sports (riding, rambling, swimming...)
Gîtes d'enfants are licensed either by the département's Youth & Sport Service, or by its Health and Social Services.
